AIGA trip

My trip to the AIGA workshops was very informative. I enjoyed the Hands on worksop on how to screen print. Norman allowed us to try screen printing on tote bags and explained very well the process and equipment. Meeting With Angelo Outlaw was especially eye opening. His first hand knowledge of what it means to be an in-house designer was very helpful. Everything from getting to know a business very well to the difficulty of doing the same work for a company repetitively was all expressed. Networking was also a main staple of these workshops. Meeting people with similar interests and more knowledge of the design world was very exciting.
